Roland Rat is a puppet character created by David Claridge in 1983. He appeared as a contestant on The Weakest Link Puppet Special.

In most of the first seven rounds, Roland voted for the contestants that were eliminated from each round as the Weakest Link, often giving them hilarious nicknames like "The Lepers", "Jackson And Pollock", and "The Nobster". He and Soo were the last two remaining contestants in the game.

During the final round, Roland was on the verge of winning £11,500 for his charity until he gave a wrong answer to his fifth question, and another in Sudden Death, and instead walked away with no money.
